September 4, 2020 - Thousands of photos of people killed in Iran during the 1988 massacre of political prisoners as well as during more recent uprisings, highlighted human rights violations during an outdoor exhibition near the US Capitol in Washington, DC.

October 21, 2020 – After the execution of wrestling champion, Navid Afkari, a photo exhibition in front of the Department of State brought awareness to imprisonment of more than 7,000 detained protesters of recent uprisings, to avoid cruelty. 

Posters memorialized the killing of 1,500 protesters in  November 2019 uprising for democracy in Iran.

Amnesty: The secret execution this morning of wrestling champion Navid Afkari, without prior notice to him, his family or lawyer, after a grossly unfair trial, is a horrifying travesty of justice that needs immediate international action.

Before his secret execution Navid Afkari, 27, was subjected to a shocking catalogue of human rights violations and crimes, including enforced disappearance; torture and other ill-treatment, leading to forced “confessions”; and denial of access to a lawyer and other fair trial guarantees.
