In support of the protesters in Iran who were killed brutally in the streets, a gathering and vigil was held in front of the White House to bring awareness.
On June 21, 2019 A large rally was held in front of the U.S. Department of State. Iranian Americans marched from the Department of State to the White House.
The White House did take notice of the Iranian American voices outside the building. On CBS’s Face the Nation Sunday, Vice President Mike Pence discussed the administration’s Iran policy and said, “What we want to do is stand with the Iranian people, thousands of whom gathered outside the White House on Friday, and thousands of whom took to the streets last year in communities across Iran.”
On September 24 and September 25 during rallies by Iranian Americans, a human rights street performance and exhibition in remembrance of the fallen for freedom in Iran was held.
On September 25 and 26th, large rallies were organized in front of the United Nations, New York by Iranian American communities. All year long from January to September 2018, our volunteers were campaigning and mobilizing people to join us in this endeavor.
